I m expecting a rank of around 26000 in aieee can i get an nit? Can you tell me whether I can get the college

i am getting rank in between 14000 to 17000 (all india rank) (general category)..... which nit i may get and with which branch? also tell me whether i can get mnit(allahabad) or iiit(allahabad)?

At this all India rank you will not get any NIT through All India quota.

If your state quota is in Tripura you will get chance of admission in NIT Agartala.

If you belong to some privilege categry like; OBC/SC/ST then according to your

state quota and community quota you may get a seat in some NIT.

Admission in the NIT college after scoring 26,000 in AIEEE.

If your rank comes in AIEEE around 26,000 and if you belong to
general category then it is very less chance to get any NIT college.
The state rank will help you to take admission in the NIT college
through state quota. If you belong to SC/ST category then i think
that it is very easy to get a chance for the admission in NIT college.

In the NIT college there are 50% reservation for the home state
candidate. So by state quota you can get a chance to admission
in the home state NIT college.

Sorry,to say but if you are from general category then there is no any chances for you in NIT but if you are from obc or sc then there is a little chance .

You may get into an NIT, but I highly recommend you keep Private College options open.

Well from this rank you can not get the admission in any of NIT as because there are 7 NITs in all over India. So there are few seats in all the NITs.
For getting into the NITs you need to score in between 10000 all india rank.
However you will get admission in good government colleges across india.
So better to apply for the government as well as private colleges.

with 26000 rank in AIEEE i think you will not get chance to take admission in any NIT. you should try for any other institution or next year try to do more good rank. this is predicted from previous year statistics. it may vary. you may try after going to the AIEEE counseling.

Yes, you will be able to get, but you cannt opt for top branches like computer science & electronics, also nothing can be said about campus, as all will depend on cut off. But if a NIT belong to your state , then you will get 50% reservation in that NIT.

at 26,000...you will get a nit...but that will be in a lower ranking and also the branch will be unsatisfactory....so i suggest you to go for either your home state nit or colleges like thapar or jaypee...you will get every branch in them hopefully...

there is the little chance for getting NIT for a general student. but as a SC\ST student you can get NIT easily.in which you can get these kind of courses . You may get the following branches
Chemical Engineering
Mining Engineering
Metallurgy
Biomedical Engineering
Biotechnology Engineering
Information Technology
Computer Science.

I believe that you are talking of your all india overall rank. if that is the case then you can easily get an NIT, but not some of the prestigious NITs like NIT, Warangal or NIT, Durgapur.
