Sir, i got 42000 rank can i get a seat in VIT in 2013

I got a seat in biotechnology in vit vellore.My rank is 26000 in vit entrance.Actually my first preference is computer science engineering with specialisation in Bioinformatics. Is there any chance to get this branch.Will there be sliding?

VIT stands for the Vellore institute of Technology .It is one of the best institutes for the pursuing degrees in engineering in south India.

As you have mentioned that you have secured 42000 AIR in VITEEE exam,honestly speaking you will not be able to get any seat in Vellore institute of technology in any branch of engineering and irrespective of category to which you belong.

Admission to different streams of engineering are closed upto 10000-12000 all India rank.

To be very frank,admission is also given on the basis of donation to management quota seats .

So can try for admission through donation if you are really interested in taking admission in VIT .
