as you woud better know that this exam is conducted by UPSC twice every year for the three wings which are
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA-NDA
Since you are only aged 18 years hence eligible for this exam ,hence since you have completed 18 years so that means you are in the range of 16.5 to 19 years hence can apply!! for NDA-2 of this year you required to give us you actual age so we could have tell you you whether you are eligible for NDA-2 or not since you passed your XII exam with subjects like Physics/chemistry & mathematics, hence you are eligible for all the three wings of Indian defence forces anyhow, hope you crack this time........ -------------------------------------------------------------------------- best of luck!! with regards roknits |

Re: Can I give NDA exam while doing engineering 1st year?
The minimum academic qualification through which a candidate can appear for NDA Exam is by completing 12th class from a recognized institute.
One can join to vareity of Defence services like -Army wing -Navy wing -Air Force wing after getting through the written exam and Interview. If the candidate has got through the written exam and Interview, he has to go through a medical test to be placed in the Defence services. As per the age criteria, one should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this Exam. There is no limit on the number of attempts for this Exam. You don't need to worry regarding your eligiblility to this Exam. Even though you have taken this exam 3 times previously, if you have completed 12th class and if you are in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years, you can take up this Exam. For this academic year, the last date to apply for NDA I Exam is over. So, there is a chance for you to appear for NDA II Exam. Have good preparation to this Exam and crack the same. Don't mention in your resume that you are a candidate pursuing Engineering course when you appear for Interview after qualifying in NDA Exam. You should be an unmarried male candidate to take this Exam. If you have gone through Mathematics and Physics as the subjects in your 12th class, you are eligible to apply for all the wings of NDA. Otherwise you are eligible to apply only for Army wing. For complete information on this Exam, you can visit http://www.upsc.gov.in/ |
