hi,
You can not join I.A.F after 12th with arts stream.
If you really want to join I.A.F you have to pass the graduation.
then you have to qualify the C.D.S Exam.

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
eligibility criteria:-
-pass graduation from recognized university
-age limit:- 19-24 year
-medically fit
-must be citizen of India.

No my friend you will not be eligible to join in Air force after completion of 12th in arts field.
For that you have to appear in NDA exam, and to appear in NDA exam you have to fulfill some criteria first.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:-

For Air Force wing:-
1.Candidate must have complete the 12th science field having maths and physics..

2.Candidate must be citizen of India.

3.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years..

As you have completed 12th in arts stream then you are not eligible for this..

IAF is the Indian Air Force and its the Air wing of the Defense of India. It conducts an exam NDA which stands for the National Defense Academy.

So NDA has got some eligibility conditions which the applicants must satisfy for being eligible to apply for this exam.

They are :

1. The age of the candidate should be within 16.5 to 19 years.

2. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this.

3. The candidate should have passed class 12th with SCIENCE Stream having studied Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects for the IAF and Naval wings.

Another exam called the NDA 2 is also held every year by the UPSC, but for technical entries for the B.Tech / B.E / B.Sc candidates.

So as you say that you have studied arts, you are not eligible for the Indian Air Force.
