You can not apply IAS exam after 12th standard because minimum qualification is graduation from a recognized university. You can join IAS coaching institute after 12th standard to crack this exam.

Eligibility for IAS exam:

You should have passed graduation from a recognized university in any stream. There is no percentage requirement.

Your age should be between 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates.

Yes, you are eligible to join the IAS institute for your preparation. I.A.S stands for the Indian Administrative Services and the examination is conducted by the UPSC every as Civil services examination.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is :-
* Candidate mudt have done the graduation from a recognised university.
* Candidate must have attained the age of 21-32 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit for the OBC and SC/ST candidate.
* There is no window fixed for the discipline and aggregate of graduation.

The examination in three stages and it is mandatory to qualify in each stages for the final selection.
Stage 1> Preliminary.
Stage 2> Mains.
Stage 3> Interview.

So you can start your preparation as you have passed your 10+2 and pursuing the graduation.

No, you can not join in IAS institute because you have just completed 12th standard. If you are in 2nd year of your graduation degree then you are eligible to get admission in IAS institute.

You can not apply for IAS after Intermediate/10+2.
Minimum Qualification required to apply for IAS is
1)After completing Graduation in any stream ie,through Arts,Commerce and Science
2)Age Limit-21 to 30 years(General Category)
3)Minimum marks required is Pass marks only.

It is necessary to complete Graduation before applying for IAS,no other alternatives such as even after passing Intermediate/10+2 one can apply,Graduation with minimum pass marks is necessary to apply.

Although the candidate can apply for the IAS in the final Year of Graduation,but not after completing 10+2 or any other Equivalent Exam.

Age Limit is also prohibits any Intermediate candidate to apply for IAS
Minimum age is 21 years ,one needs to study Graduation in order to become a Civil Service Officer.

Civil Service Exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year for only Graduate students.
