I'm 26 years old Commerce graduate & pursuing PGDM. I'm medically and physically fit. Can I join Merchant Navy in any rank? Can anyone please guide me?

For recruitment in Merchant Navy, the minimum required educational qualification is that candidate must have passed 12th in science stream.

So, candidates without science stream in std 12th are not eligible for recruitment in Merchant Navy. The examination is conducted for the selection.

No, you cannot join the engineering or navigation department in Merchant Navy since your have a commerce background.

Eligibility criteria for Merchant Navy is that:-
To join Merchant Navy, one should do 10+2 or an equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics.

However you have an option to join as Pursuer.
