I am a B.E Mechanical Engineering and have 2 backlogs. What can I do? Can I join Merchant Navy with backlogs? Or, do I need to clear the backlogs first and then apply for it?

The backlogs does not matter if you are applying for The Merchant Navy course.

It is a must that the candidate applying should be from a Science background. Either the candidate should have completed science in 12th standard along with maths or must have pursued the subjects in graduation. Both Physics and Chemistry are a must. So if you have pursued 12th standard in these areas then you can apply.

Yes,you can join Merchant Navy with backlogs. But you should have passed science in +2 and graduation with mathematics subjects.
