I have completed my Diploma Mining, 2016 and at present I am in B.Tech Information Technology final. Now, I want to write on MINING GATE exams. May I know whether I am eligible for it or not in the session 2020?

No, diploma candidates are not eligible for GATE exam. But after completion of BTech / BE degree, you can apply for GATE exam.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

If you have Bachelors Degree in engineering / Technology or Master's degree in science department then are eligible for GATE.

There is no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.

You can apply any number of time.

There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.

You Cannot write GATE examination after completing diploma.
GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
Without completion of the graduate degree you cannot eligible for GATE because diploma is not considered as graduate degree.
Eligibility criteria for GATE:-
Candidates with Bachelor's degree in engineering / technology and architecture and those who you are in final year of graduation degree bachelor's degree programs.
Candidates in final year of dual degree programme are eligible.
Candidates with general category must have 60% and candidates with SC / ST/ OBC must have 55% in qualifying examination.
So, you cannot write the GATE exam after completing diploma.
