ya you can surely write upsc exam but after finishing your ug you can undergo that

as you mention you are the final year student of b.teck course,
so you are elligible for the upsc.
and in final year you can apply fpor this.

The only requirement to write upsc exam is graduation in any stream from a university. U can't write in your final year rather u can write after your graduation.

U can write UPSC exam only after completing ur degree...

My kind suggestion is , u successfully complete ur degree.... Hardly prepare for 1 year with great determination and confidence..... Then u attempt fotr upsc examination... There are 22 posts... U can get into any one of these... If u are more bright, U can get the premier post... All the best!

Yes, Obviously. You can appear for the Civil service Examinations conducted by UPSC. All needed is a graduation degree. Specialisation or correspondance doesnt matter. So do start preparing for the Examination.

yes pooja you can write UPSC exam , the eligibility of a student depends upon the exam you gonna write, which exam you want to write in UPSC ,
and most of the exam you can write in the final year of your degree.

Educational Qualifications :

(i) For I.M.A. and Officers� Training Academy-Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.

(ii) For Naval Academy : B.Sc. (with Physics & Mathematics) or Bachelor of Engineering.

(iii) For Air Force Academy : Degree of Recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.

yes pooja as per eligibility criteria of upsc you will be eligible to wrote your exam in final year itself so start your preparation because upsc is toughest exam and you must be sound enough to crack it .

You need to be specific about the exam. Also in most of the exams you need to hold a Graduation degree or in the final year. So you are eligible.

According to me There is no exam for Instrument and control engg.

You have not mentioned whether you want to appear in CSE or IES exam conducted by UPSC.

Well if you are in the final year of engineering then you can appear for both the exam.

The eligibility criteria for these exams are as follows:

CSE - The candidate must hold a bachelors degree in any discipline obtained from a recognised University.

IES - The candidate must hold a bachelors degree in in engineering obtained from a recognised University

In both these exams a candidate who intends to appear at such a qualifying examination may also apply. Such candidates will be admitted to the examination, if otherwise eligible, but their admission would be deemed to be provisional.

if and only if they satisfy the age requrements

the minimum age required to appear for upsc exams is 21 years

and the maximum age limit for the same is 30 years

and there's relaxation for sc//st candidates till their 33 years

You can appear in UPSC exams.Only thing you need to appear there is that you need a degree(UG)

Yes ofcourse you can write UPSC exam. Since you are a last year student you should start preparing for the exam so that next year you appear for it.

This exam is conducted once a year. So you should apply for it next year after graduation completion. The minimum of 60 % aggregate is required in your graduation without any current backlogs.
