A relative of mine had passed 12th in 2009 and appeared in AIEEE but did not got a seat . Can a student outside of Maharashtra get a seat thrugh MHCET?

if you have appeared in MHCET exam,
then you can take addmision in colleges of maharastra.
if you are outsider student, then you can get only private colleges.
only students of maharastra are eligible for govt. colleges.

Yes, it is true that candidate can take this exam evenif he does not belong to the Maharashtra state. But please check the following eligibilities for this:

• Should have passed 10+2 exam with minimum 50% marks (45% for sc/st).
• Candidate should be having physics , maths, chemistry and english subjects in qualifyiing exam.

There is no rules regarding maharashtra domicile for admission from MH CET exam. They need to appear in Combined Admission Process (CAP) for central counseling . Following well known colleges are there for admission:

University Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (UICT) (www.udct.org)
Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai (VJTI) (www.vjti.ac.in)

Yes,

A outside candidate of Maharashtra can appear in the MH-CET examination but outside candidates of maharashtra can get admission in the private college only not in the government college. To appear in the MH-CET exam you should pass 12th std. exam with minimum 50% marks.

If you pass the 12th std. in 2009 then you can appear in the MH-CET exam. The application form is available in the month of March. Now you can apply in the next year examination.

i am from rajasthan and i have got good score in mht cet this year and i want to take admission in these colleges. so i want to ask WILL I HAVE TO FILL THE SAME COUNCILLING LIKE MAHARASHTRA STUDENTS OR I WILL GET ADMISSION THROUGH SOME DONATION ETC? PLEASE HELP
