Can a person become Collector is pass their matriculation exam without reading class nine?


Can a person become collector if they pass their matriculation exam from any private school without reading class nine from there?

Yes, you will be eligible for Civil Services exam if you had passed matriculation exam from any private exam but you must know that minimum academic qualification required for Civil Services exam is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

Age limit: 21-32 years with upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category.

To become Collector, you must clear different stages of Civil Services exam like Preliminary test, Mains exam and interview.

Academic qualification required to appear for Civil Services exam is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. You can apply for this exam if you have done bachelor's degree.

Yes without passing ninth and passing tenth standard, you are eligible for Civil Services exam. Age limit is 21-32 years.
