Any kind of locomotive disability which prevents efficient movement is not admissible for an IAS officer. Since a person with knock knees can not walk efficiently, he will be deemed unfit during medical test.

On clearing the interview round the candidate needs to undergo a physical fitness test. It is a must that the candidate clear this test to get the final selection. Every area including eye sight are checked. If at that point the candidate shows any sign of disability then he will be rejected. Knee knock is also treated as a disability so the candidate will be rejected.

Thumbs up Re: Can a person suffering from knock knee can apply for IAS?

Yes definitely you can apply for Civils Examination.

and if you can produce Physically Challenged Certificate you will get a special preference ..what i mean is Reservation..

you can apply ..but you are not eligible for some services like IPS where physical fitness is a must.

all the remaining 22 services are ready for you...

if you want any details regarding this clearly you can contact me..

all the best
