can a person who completed bachelor of dental surgery apply for bank po/clerk exams??

Yes you are eligible for the bank Clerk / PO examination. The examination is conducted by the IBPS and SBI. SBI conducts examination only for recruitment in there banks. IBPS conducts examination for all other banks.

The eligibility criteria for the examination is :-
* Candidates must have passed the graduation degree from a recognised university.
* Candidates age must be between 21-30 years for PO and 19-28 years for the Clerk in general category.
* No specific aggregate or discipline required in graduation.

The examination is conducted in three stages as :-
Preliminary.
Mains.
Interview.

Candidates qualify in one of the stage are eligible for the next stage. The question paper contains questions of Mathematical Reasoning,Aptitude Problems, English,Data Interpretation and Computer and its application.

So you are eligible and if you work hard then definitely achieve success also.

Yes, bachelor of dental surgery are eligible for Bank clerk and PO exam.
