Candidates from Science background are eligible for TGT/PGT or not?
Am I eligible for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) / Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) post after completing the M.Sc in Dietetics and Food Service Management?

As per the notification, TGT or PGT requires B.sc or M.sc in physics, chemistry, maths or biology.
You are not eligible for TGT and PGT exam. Trained Graduate teachers require a candidate who is a graduate with minimum 50% marks in relevant subject i.e, pgysics, chemistry, maths or biology and should havd a b.ed degree. The maximum age should not be more than 35 years. The post graduate teacher or PGT require a post graduate in relevant subject i.e, physics, chemistry, maths or biology and should have a valid b.ed degree. Your minimum age should be 40 years. Age relaxation is offered to reserved categories. |
