If you are in B.Tech, Better you go for Embedded because companies working in embedded system is ready to hire B.tech student. But for VLSI minimum requirement is M.Tech. Also there are limited companies working in India in VLSI.

But lots of companies working on Embedded Application Development & testing.

I done my b.tech 2012 and i have also 1 year experience . But now i want to move on embedded or vlsi field so please suggest me to which one is better for me for my future better.

Dear Sir,

I am a B.E (Electronics & Communication) and posses a experience of almost 5 years in analog electronics - Lighting Industry. I do not see any future growth in lighting right now and saturation level has come.

I want to go for either Embedded or VLSI. Please suggest which option is better?

Also let me know, is there any good institute or centre in NCR - Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon or Faridabad.
