I hav done B.Sc in computer science with 53%(Pass class).Right now Im doin Bnaking,Insurance Finance course From IFBI mumbai.So what all another options(Education / Jobs)are available in this sector.

Eligiblity crieteria for BANK PO exams is 60% in 10,12,graduation for general class ,so You cannot go for BANKS exams and if you belongs to OBC,SC,ST then you are eligible for bank po exams

if u r still studying try to also go for MBA In Banking and finance part time and can appear for Bank PO exams side by side after u have done your MBA u can get a great opportunities in MNC and Private Banks. Wish u all the best

the best course would be to go for BBI.....bachalor of banking of insurance........after that you can go for MBA in the same field........

In Government sector you should apply for the PO exam of the diffrent bank which notified every year in the employment news and newpaper
In private sector you can go in every company as there is need of such peaple who has such type of degree.

You can opt to go for bank probationary officer by writing bank po exam or can do higher studies like mba and then try for job and nowadays there are lots of jobs for students in banks as it is well paid, secure and high status career.

I you want to explore an excellent career oppurtunity in Insurance or Banking sector.

Then keep my advice and go for MBA in finance for banking sector and MBA in sales or marketing for insurance sector.

The career,oppurtunity you will get after persuing the above mentioned courses,is uncompareable,with the oppurtunities you will get from anyother courses.

you are doing banking and insurance course then you can apply for LIC and for post of banks.there are number of vacancies for banks.

you can go for po in banks ,manager , assistant manager,clerks and other goverment jobs

well better ia MBA...go for MBA in banking or finance....u will get better job after that,..or apply bank jobs directly vafter graduation

like carrier in Forensic Accounting
in Financial Analysis,
in Banking

CAT
XAT
MAT
FMS AND IIFT

also if you want to do job then you can apply for bank po exams of various banks.

i really appreciate you for opting this course right now this course is now in more demand you can get a really good job in any of the banking sectors, any BPO and any of the concerning field.

both are good and but i think bank is more secure than insurance.

you are now eligible for every bank post as your profile says you can now apply for bank PO and clerical jobs as well as be an executive in private banks whereas there is opportunity for you to join in the insurance sector and become a insurance exceutive or an agent. so you have multiple options nw and your eductional background wil also help you find a appropiate job . wish you good luck and sucessi n future byeee.

Yes sour youcan apply for both but bank is more safe then insurance safety..

u can try in insurance sector, good salary package and it is very wider sector...

guys, plz help me out... i joined allahabad bank po on july 2009 but recently i got final selection in new india assurance as administrative officer... right now i am facing the biggest dilemma of my life and this fact is distorting my mental serenity.........what should i do..... should i join administrative officer or not....i am also well not aware about perks or facilities of administrative officer in new india assurance......waiting 4 ur valuable response ASAP.......

with regard to ur present qualification and academic performance, i'M afraid u cant apply for officer cadre in any govt related dept.. however, dont get disheartened,when god breaks the heart, it insures it too.
for MBA the eligibility is 50% , so u can go for MBA in banking or insurance .
otherwise u can do speciality courses from indian institute of bankers / insurance institute of india......
there is also a great demand for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS, the course is short and comparatively inexpensive and ensures good return.

you may apply for both the sector both are very wide and salary package are very vast in both sector.
