Hello,

This can be a really good option for you after B.SC. in Nursing. You can join some hospital after that and work there. Also you can work for a nursing home, gather some experience and open a new one on your own. For this you would require some business skills and strategies, that you can obtain from your MBA course. Also after studying here and working from some recognized hospitals in India, you can apply for jobs in abroad. Some times I have seen in abroad universities require teaching faculties in nursing. You can portray your experience there to get a lucrative job.

Hi, There is a great demand of trained nurses in rural areas, schools, industries, health departments, orphanages, old age homes, defense, industrial houses etc. You can also join the health department of Railways or other public sector medical departments. There is also the option of joining a training institute as an educator. Ample job opportunities for Nurses are also available abroad. There is a great demand for Nurses in the UK, the US and the Middle East where a Nurse gets paid very handsomely. For pursuing your career in the field of nursing you will have to apply to the Nursing Council of that country for admission to the register before being able to practice there. If you wish to study further direct progression of your B.sc would be MSc (Nursing) or M Nursing courses, which is of two-year duration offered by many reputed institutes. The eligibility requirement is BSc (Nursing) degree with experience. The areas of specialisation include Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Maternity & Child Health Nursing, Paediatric Nursing. You can specialize in Psychiatry, Public health, Cancer treatment, Operation theatre or Paediatric nursing and can join hospitals, clinics or pharmaceutical companies. If you are looking for a change in profession then you could go in for Clinical research/ Bioinformatics. An MBA in Hospital administration could be an option.
Good Luck.

Dear B.Sc. Nursing Is the Best Option for you. If you do it from a good well known university who provides placements then its a golden Opportunity. After completion you can even go to abroad for jobs where the salary will start from 4 to 5 Lkh per month. According to my knowledge the best Option is Symbiosis College of nursing In Pune. Its Under Symbiosis International University.
