POINTS TO NOTE :

-> Exam consists of 2 rounds - Written and Interview.

-> The exam consists of three main sections as follows..

CDS exam is conducted twice a year and for getting into it you need to satisfy all the criteria's regarding CDS exam such as age, physical fitness , mental fitness and many more . go through the brochure for it .

CDS exam is conducted twice in a year. This exam is conducted by the
UPSC. To apply for this examination a candidate should be graduate in any
discipline from a recognized university.
Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for
the CDS examination.

Hi dear,
The exam consists of two phases- a written exam and an interview. The written exam pattern is different for the different training institutes. The written exam pattern is given below.

For Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy and the Air Force academy the written exam consists of three sections. They are the English section, the General Knowledge Section and the Elementary Mathematics Section. All the sections are objective type and carry 100 marks each. So the total is 300 marks.

For Officers’ Training Academy the exam consists of two sections only- English and General Knowledge. Both the sections are objective type and carry 100 marks each. The total is thus 200 marks.

The written exam is followed by an interview. The marks for SSB interviews are as follows. Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy and the Air Force academy are of 300 marks and the marks for Officers Training Academy are 200

Combined Defense Service Examination (CDS)

CDS is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

This exam is conducted for recruiting officers in Indian Air force, Navy and Army.

Through this womens are recruited as non-technical officers and male candidates are recruited as technical as well as non-technical officer.

C.D.S i.e Combined Defence Service examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year.

Military Academy :-

• Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
• Age should between 19 years and 24 years.

Naval Academy :-

• Graduate degree or engineering degree from a recognized University.
• Age should between 19 years and 22 years.

Air force Academy :-

• Bachelor's degree or engineering from a recognized University.
• Age should between 19 years and 23 years.

Officer Training Academy :-

• Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
• Age should between 19 years and 25 years.
