Chances of getting admission directly into 2nd year of BE after completion of 2 year Diploma?

I have completed Diploma in Electronic Engineering. Now, can I get direct admission into 2nd year of B.E Electrical Engineering or I will have to start from 1st year only?

No, you can't get direct admission in second year of B.E course after completion of two years Diploma course. To be eligible to get direct admission in second year of B.E course, you should have passed three years Diploma in Engineering course from a Government recognised institute. You have to appear in lateral entry examinations like LEET, ECET, JELET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state technical board of education and participate in the counselling process to get admission in second year of B.E course.
