Chances of joining Polytechnic having a gap of 3 years after 12th?
I passed class 10th in 2011 with 60% marks and class 12th in 2014 with 49.6%. I did not attended colleges in the year 2015, 2016 and 2017. Am I still eligible to join any Polytechnic colleges in the year 2018?

Yes, You are still eligible to apply for the Polytechnic collages is year 2018. Although you should have prepare the Gap certificate for three years.
You should have qualify in the following eligibility criteria. Age - Not more than 24 years . ( Relaxation as per govt. norms for reserved category is applicable). Education - 1. Should have at least 45 % marks in 12th. Application Process- Every year between April to june Lateral entry form has opened. Admission given to the students through lateral entry directly in second year. Polytechnic Collages List - 1. Government Polytechnic , Mumbai 2.Adhiparasakthi Polytechnic College. Kanchipuram 3. Yes, you are eligible to join Polytechnic course even if you have 3 years gap after completion of your 12th standard. To be eligible to join Polytechnic course, you should have passed 10th or 12th standard from a recognised board. Being a 12th standard passed student, you are eligible to get direct admission in second year of three years Diploma course by appearing and qualifying the VOCLET examination. You have to qualify the entrance examination and participate in the counselling process according to your examination rank to get admission for pursuing Polytechnic course.
