i belong to sc category, my expected score in gate mechanical 2011 is between 22-25, can i qualify, what colleg can i get....
what will b my score and percentile??????????

you can expect a very good institution if you get 22 to 25 marks in GATE from mechanical engineering and you belongs to SC category though it is vary from year to year. but i am giving you information based on the previous year trends.


with this marks you will be able to apply for IITs. but in IIT they take one interview before the admission. interview carry 30% and GATE score carry 70%. now if you are able to give good interview then there is a chance to take admission in IIT. otherwise easily you may take admission in other good government institution with this marks.


you may expect your score will be around 500 out of thousand if you got 25 marks. obviously you will clear cut off marks of Mechanical engineering if you got 25marks in GATE from SC category.

but for getting the admission the Score is most important thing,
Because colleges are getting admission on the Score Basis ,
i haope 300-400 score you will be get.
in this score as per Reservation category you can surely get NITs with good Stream.......

If you belong to SC category and got 19 marks in gate 2012 than you will be eligible for a good college.If your rank come under 50 than you are eligible for IIT and NIT Institutes. But the all things is depend on cut-off marks and your marks are good if you take this.So don't hesitate and fear.
