Eligibility required for various courses in NIT Kurukshetra, Haryana

The admission to bachelor degree in Engineering is conducted through All India Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by Central Government. Those aspirants who have completed the intermediate 10+2 examination with mathematics and Science as subjects can apply for this entrance examination. Apart from this, they must possess 50% marks in this qualifying examination. Indian citizens as well as foreign nationals can apply for the entrance examination. Foreign nationals or NRI s must possess 60% marks in the qualifying XII class examination.

Those who obtain a valid Score in GATE examination can expect admission in various PG courses offered by the College. Aspirants with 60% marks in bachelor degree in Engineering are eligible to apply for GATE examination.

Admission Procedure for various courses in NIT Kurukshetra, Haryana

Those aspirants who possess a valid score in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) can expect an admission in different undergraduate level courses offered by NIT, Kurukshetra. This entrance examination is conducted by CBSE on behalf of the Central government of India.

A fixed number of seats are reserved for candidates with valid GATE in various Master level courses offered by the College. Remaining seats are allotted to industry-sponsored candidates as well as Non-GATE candidates with 60% marks in qualifying examination.

Those who expect an admission in Management Course, MBA have to undergo a written test followed by an interview.
