AIEEE is the most prestigious engineering entrance examination conducted every year

For this exam due to day by day increase in no. of students appearing for the examination

the cutoff is also increasing day by day

and the examination pattern is not constant likewise the Max Marks of the exam

In 2008 it was 314 marks

In 2010 it is 432 marks

so it is not constant and also the cut offs varies very widely

the no. of applicants for this exam will be nearly around 6 lacs +

so deciding a particular cutoff now itself is not good

but i can tell you one thing that is you should at least get 80% of marks in the entrance examination then only think about seat in colleges

Forget all these and concentrate on getting good marks then automatically you will get the desired seat

this is all i want to say..

It is quite hard until you dont fall in sc category and homestate quota.also have a glance of previous yeaR seat allotment

buddy i think 80 marks are not good enough for government colleges !!
but yah u can apply to private institues which take admissions on acct of aieee ranks !!
like dhiru bhai amabani institue , nirma institute , petroleum univ gandhinagar , and thapar institute .
dere are many more for which u can apply..
but i will suggest u to try once again for eee 2012.wid better preparations .

I dont think you would be able to get NITs with these marks except you belong to reserved category. For SC/ST cut off remains below 100.

as u scored 87-90 marks,it is very difficult to get admission in NITs...

u simply try for private colleges,based on the availability of seat in the colleges ,which u looking for....

i will refer further and tell u the college ,good for your ut-off...

Sir,a friend of me is getting 111 marks in AIEEE.Can he get admission in NIT, Hamirpur

I have got 103 marks in aieee 2011 in gen category with all india rank of 78554 and gen category rank 0f 55645. Delhi state rank of 6205 and delhi gen category rank of 5374. which best college I can get admission in, preferably at Delhi/Jaipur.
