I want to get admission for MBBS and I have got 71% marks in 10+2, am I eligible for admission in any colleges in Punjab? Which all are the government as well as private colleges in Punjab offering MMBS?

There is no direct admission in any medical colleges of Punjab in MBBS course. Admission in MBBS course is done on basis of NEET scorecard. NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It is conducted by CBSE for admission in MBBS, BDS course.

Candidates who have done 12th from a recognized board with 50% marks and studied subjects like PCB can apply for the exam. With 71% marks, you can apply for exam next year. The age limit is 17-25 years.

MBBS is Bachelor degree in Medicine and Bachelor degree in Surgery and it is a five year duration course.

Candidates are eligible to get admission in the course only after qualifying in NEET examination. So, you have to appear for NEET examination to get admission.

There is o direct admission in MBBS course based on percentage of marks in senior secondary board examination. You will have to apply for NEET exam for admission in MBBS course.

2. Minimum of 50% marks in board exam.

You can apply for NEET exam with 71% marks in 12th.
