GPSC exam is conducted for selecting eligible candidates for different posts in government departments in the state. GPSC exam is generally conducted in May/June. Graduation in any discipline is the main qualification required for attending this exam. You should be between 21 – 30 years of age to attend this exam. You can apply via online for this exam by logging in to the official website of GPSC. If you qualify in written exam, you will be called for a personal interview.

Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) conducts exam for the posts in Gujarat Civil Services

Deputy Superintendent of Police
Section Officer-Sachivalaya
Section Officer-Vidhansabha
Taluka Development Officer
Labour Officer
District Inspector of Land Record

Eligibility:-

Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline from reconised university

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION -

1.Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
2.Main Examination (Written Examination)
3.Personality test

A. PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION:
The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers with objective type questions.

Paper – I General Studies
Paper – II One subject to be selected from the list of optional subjects.

B. Main Examination:
The main Examination consists of written examination which is of conventional type

Paper - I Gujrati
Paper - II English
Paper – III General studies
Paper – IV & V Two subjects to be selected from the list of optional subjects. Each subject will have two papers.

Eligibility for Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC)
Candidate have A bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks .

Age limit:-
Age should be between 21-28 years
