UPSC is a constitutional body which conducts various examination for recruitment in All India Services, Central services etc.
Civil Service Examination is one of the most popular examination for which the required educational qualification is bachelor degree in any discipline there is no requirement of having Hindi as paper in Std 10th. Civil Service Examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted in three stages.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The age limit is 21-32 years and relaxation for reserved category. So, you can appear for the examination without bachelor degree. No, it is not compulsory to take hindi for giving upsc exam,
until and unless you choose hindi language as compulsory paper in upsc mains . You can give upsc paper in any Indian language given below: -Assamese -Bengali -Gujarati -Hindi -Kannada -Kashmiri -Konkani -Malayalam -Manipuri -Marathi -Nepali -Odia -Punjabi -Sanskrit -Sindhi -Tamil -Telugu -Urdu -Bodo -Dogri -Maithili -Santhali |

No, it is not at all required to have pursued Hindi or any particular subject in Class 10th or at any level of academics to be eligible for appearing in the Civil Services examination often known as UPSC examination as for appearing in the same examination essential education required is just a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
