Which course I should do after completion of HSC exam? B.Sc in Microbiology or B.Pharm course?
Sir/Mam,
I have passed hsc examination by 77.70% this year.. I am confused about career choices..Should I pursue B.Sc in Microbiology or B.pharm..Please help and reply at the earliest. It will be helpful if you can answer me back soon. Thanks! |

I would like to suggest you to go for that course in which you are interested. If you are interested to study the science of microorganisms then it would be better for you to go for BSC microbiology and if you are interested in manufacture of drugs and you should go for Bachelor of Pharmacy. Both of the courses are good and will have great job opportunities in the future.

Yes after completing 12th PCB course with 77% marks you are eligible for both B.Sc microbiology and B.Pharm courses.
Eligibility for B.Sc microbiology : 1. After completing 12th you can take direct admission in this course in any degree college where it is offered. 2. The basic eligibility is 12th PCB completed. 3. The course duration is 3 years and there is no entrance exam for getting admission. 4. There is no minimum marks applicable for this course in 12th. After completing this course you can get job as 1. Medical Microbiologists 2. Agricultural Microbiologists 3. Industrial Microbiologists 4. Marine Microbiologists Eligibility for B.Pharm : 1. You should complete 12th PCB with atleast 55% marks. 2. The course duration is 4 years. 3. The minimum age limit is 17 years for taking admission. 4. The admission is given based on the merit list of the entrance exam for B.pharm. After completing b.pharm you can get job as 1. Chemical/Drug Technician 2. Bio-Technology Industries 3. Drug Therapist 4. Drug Inspector 5. Hospital Drug Coordinator 6. Health Inspector 7. Pharmacist 8. Pathological Lab 9. Research & Development 10. Making Prescription to Patients 11. Scientist 12. Research Officer |
