Quote:
Dear friend yes you can join any course but that is not good way to go in ISRO.... if you want to join then you give surely engg. entrance ............ because if you will do engg. in research area then you can surely join ISRO directly........... any other course is not available to join ISRO because this is a research area and you can't go without any research course and for research you must join any engg. college in which research area is available............. for more information you can check on website................ www.isro.gov.in |

Re: Which course to join after 12th in order to join ISRO?
as far as i know, i can only give you a limited knowledge about only 1 path to ISRO :
you can apply for ISAT entrance test after boards. this test is conducted by Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Trivandrum, every year but with very limited seats, indeed a tough one to crack. I think you need at least 70% in PCM in your boards to avail admission if selected in ISAT. but do not go by merely my words and go to http://www.iist.ac.in for proper info. you will have to choose from 3 branches you want to study for your future in IIST after selection, viz. Aerospace Engg., Avionics & Physical Science. I cannot tell you which one will lead you to ISRO as I do not remember it clearly, but it is one of these, most probably Physical Science. go to the website and search for the courses provided and the brochure of ISAT & study it carefully. if still not getting, then try for the same info by typing requisite detail about the IIST info required in Google search. |

Re: Which course to join after 12th in order to join ISRO?
Your Idea to join in ISRO is appreciable..
don't worry of nil knowledge we are here to help you.. I will share my knowledge regarding the ISRO .. After 12th you have to attempt an Engineering Entrance Examination and get a seat in a good engineering college.. if you want to become Engineer/Scientist in ISRO. then definitely you have to complete your bachelors in engineering. then after successfully completing your engineering for 4 years.. you should write an entrance called ISRO Engineer/Scientist exam if you clear that barrier then you are into ISRO as junior Engineer.. hope you get the position what you desire for.. best wishes ~aditya~ |

Re: Which course to join after 12th in order to join ISRO?
Hello Dear,
In order to join ISRO, first it should be very clear to you that your performance in study and in practical work matter a lot. The more knowledge you have make it easy to crack the entrance exam for ISRO. As we know ISRO deals with various Researches and give better career opportunities to the scientists. So, after completing your B.Tech/B.E. you are eligible to sit in the examination. Eligibility: 1. The candidate must have passed or pursuing final year of B.Tech/B.E. in any discipline like Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, IT etc. 2. Age Limit: Minimum 21 years to 30 yrs You should start preparation from now if you are really serious about this because if its impossible then must keep in mind that it's also not such easy. Wish you all the very best. |

Re: Which course to join after 12th in order to join ISRO?
ISRO :- Indian Space Research Organisation ...
-> After the completion of 12th from science stream with aggregate (65%) . Join in graduate course , here the thing you need to pay attention Select physics Research course .. Because it requires the students who are sound in science ... After the completion of graduation , select post graduation course , complete the research successfully ... -> After that participate in the entrance exam conducted by ISRO committee ... After getting decent percentage you will be eligible for interview .. and after this you will become a member in ISRO.. |
