The notification for the upcoming CSIR National Eligibility Test will, most probably, be published either in the last week of February 2012 or may be in the month of March 2012.
Till now, there hasn't been any official confirmation regarding the same and the information provided above is based upon previous records.
Once the dates are announced, complete information will be available on the official website of Human Resource Development Group, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research- csirhrdg.res.in

how many times can we give the csir test

CSIR has already announced the June exam of NET. Please see the details in the page http://csirhrdg.res.in/netjune2012notice.pdf.

The exam is on 17th June. Registration commences on 21st Feb and closes on 20th march.

Important Announcement Regarding CSIR NET Examination :

CSIR Stands for Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), India and it is also conducts the NET Examination every year.

For this year June CSIR NET Examination Notification was already announced and availiable in the official website. (Advertisement No.10-2(5)/2012(i) - E.U.II).

~~ To apply for this examination you have to complete your M.Sc. or Equivalent degree under these given Subjects and you have to scored minimum 55% marks from a recognised University. Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NET Examination.

You have to study any one of the subjects to apply for NET Examination.

CSIR NET sets out the following eligibility conditions for the 2010, 2011 exam:

A minimum of 55% marks is required in masters.
Minimum marks for SC/ST/Physically handicapped categories is 50% in master’s.
The university/college for master’s should be recognized by UGC.


NET 2011 Application

NET application for the upcoming exams is available at the official UGC website. Candidates just need to procure the downloaded version of the application form and submit it as per the instructions given on the official website.

Duly fill in the form and submit it along with the requisite fee amount in any branch of the State Bank of India.

Candidates applying online need the following documents:

Scanned passport size photograph in JPEG format.
Copy of the Bank Challan


Post submission candidates need to take a print out of the online application form, attendance slip & the admission card.

Candidates belonging to SCST/PH/VH/OBC categories should enclose the attested copy of the respective certificate.
