NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year .

Recruitment of :-

>>Indian Army
>>Indian Navy
>>Indian Air force

Basic qualification for NDA examination is completed 12th examination from a recognized School or equivalent qualification .

Age limits should be between 16.5 years to 19 years and there is no upper age limits for this examination .

Stage of examination :- Written exam , SSB interview , Physical Test and Medical Test .

Exam Pattern of NDA :-

NDA I examination was already completed on 15/04/12 but the NDA I exam results was not declared yeat . The exam results will be expect in the month of July or August in the official website of UPSC as well as employment news paper .

NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.e

NDA-I,

NDA-II.

This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).


NDA has three wings:

Indian army,

Indian airforce,

Indian navy.


Educational qualification:

12th standard from a recognised state or central board.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

For airforce and navy wings you must have PCM subjects in 12th standard.


Age criteria:

Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

There is no relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates.


Nationality:

Citizen of india.


Important note:

Girls are not eligible for this exam, only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

You must be physically fit.

Selection procedure:

Written test,

SSB interview,

Medical test.


Important dates for NDA-II:

Date of notification; 05-may-2012,

Last date of receiving application forms:04-june-2012,

Date of examination: 19-aug-2012.


NDA-I exam 2012 was already over, the results was not declared yet and the result is announced in the month of july or august 2012.

REGARDING THE DATE OF RESULT


Sadly, The result hasn't been published yet, although I expected it to have come out by the 15th... Anyway, We can't really do anything but wait till the publish it.
But, for good news, It should be out before the end of the month. I believe the delay has been caused due to the postponing of the date of commencement of proceeding NDA/NA batch for July 2012.
So sit tight and good luck to all of you.
May we all get to wear the proud Indian Armed Forces Uniform someday......
