According to previous years trend the notification for the exam should be available
soon and the sale of application should start from last week of February.
The last date of receipt of application should fall in the month of April.

Once the notification comes the date of examination will be known.

Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders – ECET FDH 2012

ECET FDH Entrance Test 2012 :

The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education ( APSCHE ) announced that the Engineering Common Entrance Test – ECET 2012 for admission to theDiploma Holders and BSc Mathematics.

JNTU ECET FDH Exam Date 2012 :
ECET FDH 2012 Exam Date : 24th May, 2012 ( Thursday 10 am & 1 pm ).
ECET 2012 applications are invited from Diploma Holders in various branches of Engineering namely, Civil / Electrical / Mechanical ( including Automobile, Packaging Technology, Printing Technology & Foot Ware Technology ) / Computer Engineering ( including Special Diploma ) / Electronics and Communication ( including Special Diploma / Special Diploma in TV and Sound Technology ).

ECET FDH Eligibility 2012 :
Diploma in Bio – Medical Engineering ( including Special Diploma ) / Mining / Chemical ( including Sugar Technology / Ceramic Technology / Textile Technology / Leather Technology ) / Metallurgy / Electronics and Instrumentation ( including Special Diploma ) / Pharmacy and B.Sc., Graduates with Mathematics for the Common Entrance Test :

1. ECET Eligibility 2012 for Lateral admission through Common Entrance Test into 2nd year regular B.E. / B.Tech. Courses in All India Council for Technical Education approved Un – Aided Private Professional Institutions.
2. ECET Eligibility 2012 for Admission through Common Entrance Test into 1st year regular B.E. / B.Tech. Courses in University Engineering Colleges for the seats specifically earmarked for Diploma holders.
3. ECET Eligibility 2012 for Lateral admission through Common Entrance Test into 2nd year regular B.Pharmacy Courses in both University and private un – Aided professional Institutions approved by Pharmacy Council of India.
ECET 2012 for the academic year 2012 – 2012 to be conducted by the JNT University Hyderabad on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education in accordance with G.O.Ms. No.24 Education (EC) Department, Dt. 18-03-2004, and its amendments.
As per the latest AICTE Approval Process ECET Hand book 2012 – 2013, ECET 2012 eligibility criteria is revised as under for admission. “Candidates who obtained 50% ( 45% for reserved categories ) of marks at the qualifying examination for both i) Diploma Holders and ii) B.Sc Pass outs ( passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject ) are eligible”. However, candidates shall fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down in relevant G.O.’s at the time of ECET 2012 admission

ECET FDH Application Form 2012 :
The prescribed ECET 2012 application form along with instruction booklet containing information regarding eligibility criteria, syllabi etc., for the Engineering Common Entrance Test ECET 2012 can be obtained in person on payment of 300/- from following designated Main Post Offices :
Hyderabad GPO, Secunderabad, Khairatabad, Sanathnagar, Kachiguda, JNTU, Kukatpally (PO), Hanamkonda, Warangal, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Khammam, Kothagudem, Mahaboobnagar, Sangareddy, Nalgonda, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Bhimavaram, Tanuku, Eluru, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Machilipatnam, Buckinghampet, Vijayawada, Arundelpet (Guntur), Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Chittoor, Tirupathi, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nandyal, and Anantapur Post Offices.

The late fee in the ECET 2012 form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, APSCHE, Hyderabad” must be enclosed to the filled in ECET 2012 application form.
From April, 2012 the applications can be obtained from the ECET [FDH & B.Sc. ( Maths )] – 2012 Convener’s Office.
Important Dates for ECET FDH 2012 :
• Commencement of sale of ECET application forms : February, 2012.
• Last date for receipt of filled in ECET 2012 application forms without late fee : April, 2012
• Last date for sale and receipt of ECET 2012 application with late fee of 500/- : April, 2012
• Last date for sale and receipt of ECET 2012 application with late fee of 1,000/- : April, 2012
• Last date for sale and receipt of ECET FDH 2012 application with late fee of 5,000/- at Convener’s Office only : May, 2012
