since the JTO notification 2011 is still to come to be

eligible for written test the candidate must be of 21 years of age and less than 30 years also a age relaxation is there for 3 years and 5 years for obc and SC/ST candidates

complete details off BSNL JTO EXAM notification will be put up there in Third week of June, 2011.

Mode of selection and nature of Question Paper
The mode of selection is through an All India Competitive Examination. The examination will be of three hours duration with one Question Paper containing the following 3 sections:-

Examination Pattern:-
For JTOs (Civil)
Section-I: Civil Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-II: Civil Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-III: General Ability Test: 20 questions
For JTOs (Telecom)
Section-I: Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-II: Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-III: General Ability Test: 20 questions
For JTOs (Electrical)
Section-I: Electrical Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-II: Electrical Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-III: General Awareness: 20 questions

JTO exam held every year in the last week of the month of June.

Hi Friend,

The 2008 and 2009 JTO Notifications were released in the month of February. However,the 2010 notification is still to come. You can check the BSNL official website: www.bsnl.co.in/ for latest updates.

Eligibility for BSNL JTO exam - The candidates should have completed Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in civil,electrical, telecommunications, electronics, radio, computer or IT from a recognized engineering college.
Candidates who are in their final year can also apply for the written test provided that the said educational qualifications will be attained by the end of the year in which the notification was released (or by that date as decided by the management).

How to apply - Application should be sent to the CGM’s of respective Telecom circles. An All India competitive written exam will be held. Selected candidates will be called for Interviews.

Date of JTO exam 2011-12 has not been announced yet.But we can expect it on jan or february 2012. make your preparations well.

There has been no notification till now, also exam is conducted only when there is vacancy for engineers in BSNL.

Notification was closed on 12th Dec 2011.And exam going to held on 19th Feb 2012.
