I am a 12th standard student of science group. I wanted to know that, when is the karnataka state medical entrance exam 2016? and the procedures to apply for it. What about a student of another state apply for it?

Important dates for Karnataka state Medical Entrance Exam 2016 :

>> Last date to fill the application form : Till march 2016

>> Date of Entrance Examination : At the End of April 2016 .

Start date of online application form is February 2016

Last date of online registration is March, 2016

Downloading of Admit Card is April, 2016

KCET Medical 2016 exam May, 2016

Procedure for Karnataka students:

You will get application form form the participating School/College located in Karnataka

Download the bank challan from KEA Website by entering name, date of birth, category and name of bank.

For Non Karnataka students, you have a send a self Addressed cloth lined envelope of Size 25cm*30cm along with a demand draft of Rs 750/- drawn in the favor of The Executive Director, Karnataka examination Authority, Bangalore

# KCET stands for Karnataka Common Entrance Test.

# KCET is a Karnataka State level entrance examination which offer admission in undergraduate medical courses.

# The required eligibility criteria for Karnataka State Medical Entrance Examination:

* Must have completed 10+2 in subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
* Must have taken 50% by general category and 45% marks by reserved category.
* Must have attained the age of 17 years as on 31st December in concerned year.

# Pattern of examination:

* Physics (total 60 questions carrying total 60 marks)
* Chemistry (total 60 questions carrying total 60 marks)
* Biology (total 60 questions carrying total 60 marks)
