the exact date for MHT-CET 2012 is not fixed yet. so there is no date announced for this examination. generally notification for MHT-CET examination come in the month of March of every year. so you can expect that you will be able to know the exact date for MHT-CET 2012 examination on the month of March, 2012.

generally MHT-CET examination held on May of every year. so you can expect that MHT-CET 2012 examination will be held on the month of May, 2012. prepare accordingly and apply for the examination when the notification will come and if you fulfill the eligibility criterion.

Mhcet is conducted to get admission in following streams: 1.) Engineering (BE); 2.) Technology; 3.) Pharmacy, 4 .) BVSc & AH, Health sciences colleges in maharastra.The MHT CET Entrance Exam consists of three question papers of subjects mathematics, Physics & chemistry, Biology - Botany& Zoology.

Paper I: Physics & Chemistry (50 marks each)

Paper II: Biology -Botany & Zoology (50 marks each)

Paper III: Mathematics (100 Marks)

All three papers are of 100 marks each. All questions arecompulsory.as no notification is there about Mhcet so correct dates were not available.Schedule & Sale of information brochure and application forms: Through Jr. College/High School/Divisional Authority, from February to March Month of Examination: May.

The MHT-CET exam is conducted by govt. of Maharashtra.The date of MHT-CET exam for 2012 has not decleared yet .

1.Every year, the Government of Maharashtra conducts the Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET). It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. The degree courses of the following streams are mainly accounted for in this entrance exam:

Health Sciences
Engineering
Pharmacy

2. Eligibility

The students who have appeared for the HSC examination or its equivalent, and wish to pursue a career in the above mentioned fields are eligible to appear for MHT-CET. The result of MHT-CET plays a pivotal role in deciding in which college in Maharashtra state the student can possibly get an admission. A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with atleast 50% aggregate marks in PCM/PCB.There is 5% relaxation for Maharashtra backward classes. Candidates appearing for 10+2 examinations in 2011 can also apply.

3.MHT-CET Application Forms

There will be a common form for Engineering, Health Science and Pharmacy Courses. Application forms along with brochures for MHT-CET will be available at the schools/junior colleges of students where they have studied in Maharashtra. Candidates have to submit the completely filled application forms in their schools before the last date.

4.MHT-CET Exam Important Dates(Tentative)

Availability of CET Forms: March 2nd-4th week, 2011
Last Date for submission of CET forms: 4th week, 2011
Date of CET: May 1st week, 2011
Declaration of Results: Mid June 2011
