Hey guys I have a problem. I have a cousin who is studying in 12th in muscat and is appearing for his board exams. But he wants to give MHT-CET this year itself , so can he give the exam, if yes what are the procedures , documents needed can anyone explain in detail. Sorry for being such a noob.

sorry he is not eligible since Non Resident Indian (NRI)/Overseas citizen of India (OCI) are not eligible.

Hey guys ma cousin is a resident of india (kerala). but he only studies in muscat(due to his parents working there). So now is he elegible???. And can he appear for the cet this year???

dear friend, you are not eligible for Mht-cet exams, because there is no seats and quota availiable for nri students, so non resident indian or overseas citizen of india are not applicable to do this exams......

Guys plz help out here...Is it necessary to repeat MHT-CET again in the next year of it.
example-given cet exam in 2009...and can that student get admission in medical/engineer the next year..2010

the validity of the score card for mht cet exam is only for that year........you can not expect for a college on the basis of your last year mht cet score......

you will have to apply again this time ....appear for the exams and get a good score ......

dude your couisin can only apply if he is having the domicile of Maharashtra or else he will not be eligible to appear for the exam.

if your couisin wants to take admission in any of the engg. colleges in Maharashtra then he can do so by applying for aieee and on the basis of the score in aieee he can get a seat in Maharashtra colleges..

What is the procedure of filling form for reappearing in MHT-CET?

I regret that your cousin can't sit for MHT-CET as according to the eligibility criteria,NRI students are not eligible for this exam,
aspiring candidates must have passed 12th or its equivalent exam from a recognised institute of Maharashtra.

only you will be able to get admission to
engineering colleges as they demand
domicile certificate during admission.
you can get admission through
AIEEE rank as 15% seat of the college is filled through aieee rank.
and friend as per me most of college have 5% seat is filled through management quota and you can get it details from college office.

i think your cousin is not ligible for the exam because there are no seats available for the NRI quata.

To sit for this exam he must have domicile of maharashtra,and that is yje only option...

NRI's are not eligible for MHCET.But he can go through management quota to secure seat in your desired college.You can go through the following link regarding eligibility details

ya sure u can.....my cousin gave the exam in 7th class, myself gave it in 9th....infact 12th is actually a bit late....

no it is not eligible for it.
because there is no NRI quota in it.

yes you can apply as there is no age limit or number of attempt limit in MHT-CET.

Can a US citizen with OCI spend all his life in Maharastra and has a domicile from Maharastra eligible for CET exams for Engineering Medicine on open merit basis ? Anyone with similar situation please help

sorry But NRI candidates are not eligible to appear for MH_CET

he should try to appear for AIEEE and there he will be able to appear for AIEEE

in 12 appearing itself

there is no special quota is available for the nri candidates.

in admission procedure of the mhtcet exam , in admission to private colleges 15% quota is available for those candidates who have scored descent total in aieee .

Absolutely yes. Your cousin can appear for MHTCET this year itself. Application forms will be distributed in respective colleges or divisional authority centre. Collect the brochure and read it carefully. All documents are listed there. Please visit www.dte.org.in for more info.

MHT CET is an entrance exam conducted by the maharashtra government for pharmacy and non medical courses
The eligibility criteria is
Candidate must have studied 11 and 12 standard from. The state
Candidate must have a domicile certificate for the state
This exam is basically only for the students of the state
Your cousin is not eligible for this exam
