All India Management Association (AIMA) shall conduct Management Aptitude Test during February 2011 for Admission to MBA and PGDM courses in

various B-Schools across the country. AIMA MAT will be held both in Paper mode and Computer Based test. Candidates can choose any one of these tests.

Interested candidates can register online through www.aima-ind.org/matfeb11 and shall pay the fee through credit card.

Applications are also available at select branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank and AIMA Study Center.

Following are other details:

Eligibility Requirements: Candidates should have passed in any graduation. Those appearing for final year examinations also can apply. Application fee for

purchase of application at bank branches is Rs. 1200. Fee for online application OR cash payment at AIMA New Delhi is Rs. 1050. For online registration, you

need to take a DD for Rs. 1050 in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at New Delhi.

There are about 500 institutions across India taking MAT scores for short listing the candidates for admission to Management Programmes. Complete list of

participating institutions, test centers, Examination structure, model / mock tests, question paper pattern, application format and other information available on
www.aima-ind.org.

MAT examination is done for admission in the MBA college .There are many good colleges which accept MAT score card to give admission to students .MAT exam is done by AIMA four times in a year.You can choose any one of the two options to take the MAT Sep 2011 Test .These are ::

Paper – Based Test
Computer Based Test

Eligibility for the exam ::

You must have passed your bachelor degree in any streams and there i no percentage bar for the exam.
There is no age limit for the exam and number of times you can appear for the exam.

Paper Pencil Test::04th September, 2011 ( Sunday )
Computer Based Test::From 10th September, 2011 ( Saturday ) onwards

You can take computer based exam from any where in different Time slots at specific test venues.

Procedure to apply for the exam ::

You can get the MAT Bulletin Sep 2011 / CD against cash payment of 1200/- from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centres of AIMA ( OR ) against cash payment of 1050/- from AIMA New Delhi.

You can also get the application form through the crossed Demand Draft (DD) of 1050/- in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank.

MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test. This exam is conducted by the All India Management Aptitude Testing Service. It is an All India National Entrance Test for MBA. After CAT, this is the second most popular entrance exam among MBA aspirants. Every year this exam is conducted by AIMA for four times:- February, May, September and December.

There is paper based test as well as online based test. Both the exams will be conducted on separate dates. So you have the option to choose which ever seems convenient to you. The notifications of this year's September exam is already out. The online based test will take place on 7th September and paper-based test on 1st September.

You can obtain the MAT bulletin by paying Rs. 1200 from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centres of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi. Even by sending demand draft of Rs. 1200 in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any bank. You just have to register online and send the DD details. Lastly, those who have credit or debit cards can pay the amount online and get the application form as well.

For giving MAT you need to be a graduate first. You need to get a bachelor's degree in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university. Since the minimum percentage to achieve have not been mentioned therefore you just need to get the pass marks.

Even if you fail to achieve good marks at graduation level and have just about managed to pass even then your hopes of pursuing MBA wont end because of entrance exams like MAT. This exam can also be given by students in the final year of their degree or by students who are awaiting the results.

There is no age criteria to abide by which means after graduation whenever you are prepared you can give this examination. One can give this exam as many times they want to. MAT score will be valid for one year only.
