when will the IAS exam forms available and its closing date? what will be the criteria for filling up the form?

hello friend,

For IAS exam, the notification of the application form will come on 19.02.2011

The last date for receipt of application form is 21.03.2011(monday) and the date of exam is 12.06.2011(sunday).

criteria:
you have to make sure that your name,address and all the specification have to be correct and all the relevant columns,you should obtain the form from post office only.

Sir am Studing engg i would like to attend IES and IAS exam .is it possible to attend both exams ?

Application for IAS 2011 exam will be available from 19-2-2011 and last date for that is 21-3-2011 and the date of exam is 12-6-2011.
For filling up the application form you should refer to employment news(rojgaar samachar) in which the advertisement has been made.

yes you can appear in both the examination separately as these are two distinct exams conducted by UPSC and their date of examinations is also different.

yes you can write both ias and ies exam as both of the exams have different eligibility criteria and different examination date.

plz tell me when is the last date to submit the form for 2011 of IAS and when it would be avialable in the respective post office.this would be my first attemp . so plz advise me some good books as well and the pattern abt the pre exams.

So, if you are interested to apply for civil services examination, then please apply for this exams before 21st/March/2011.

After completing this dates, You can not apply for IAS 2011 Examinations.

I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAM., 2012
Date of notification:-04.02.2012
Last Date of receipt of form:- 05.03.2012(MONDAY)
Date of exam:- 20.05.2012(SUNDAY)

CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAM., 2012
Date of exam:- 05.10.2012(FRIDAY)

You can apply both on like and offline.
If you ant you can buy the form from all the major post office.
