i have sent application for the GATE in a computer science and Information Technology by the speed post . My application number is 7158964.Now, in the Gate site application status is not reached till now…so please suggest me how now.???

it would be proper if you contact the gate office of the iit you have sent your form to as early as possible,
the number would be available in the brochure you have got along with the application form
you should also try to trace out your application form through the postal department

actually you are checking your application status in wrong website. if you want to check your application status you have to go IIT Madra website as you have sent your application there. the address is http://gate.iitm.ac.in

don't worry i have checked your application status and i think everything is correct. but you should check it to check the examination center, subject and spelling of your name. here i am attaching your application status preview. you may check it from here. otherwise you may go to the website and can check your application status.

If you sent it to the address that they mention, there is no way that it cannot reach.
By the way, candidates are not getting the admit card still, so when it comes and if you admit card doesnt reach then enquire about that.

well lakshmi...

these are the reasons by which you can't access with your required information.

1.due to wrong filling up the form it might have rejected.

2.you are not accessing the right site...

3.if both of them are correct then go for or contacts to higher authority

as you have Sent the GATE application form but the application status says form not received , so it will be better to visit your near IIT gate office.

so don't be late, you must go your near iit office as soon as possiable.

I sent my GATE application no. 6024919. I am from kolkata so I fall in IIT kharagpur zone. Speed post tracking says the post has been delivered to IIT kharagpur on 02.10.2011. But the application status says that it has not been received yet. What do I do? I have checked the status thru IIt kgp's site.

I was submitting my application form and done payment through netbanking. But further processing did not happen and i had to logout. Now the amount from my account is shown paid while i am again login for application its says me to the payment agin. So what should i do???

I think you must wait for sometime, might be your GATE application form is delayed in system to be posted, It may be posted after sometime otherwise you may contact the authority for the same, they will assist you to trace your application and status of the same.
