The entrance exam is generally held in the month of November. Normally it is on the second or the third sunday of the month. You need to be on the lookout for advertisments regarding the same.

So, you have missed the chance in this year. So, please appear in CAT exams next year.

The CAT for the 2010-2011 is over as it was from 27 October 2010 - 24 November 2010.For which the CAT Vouchers was issued from the 30th of August 2010 to 4th October2010.And the last date for the receipt of CAT 2010 Application Forms was on 7th October 2010.
Results will be declared on the 11th of January 2011.

So,for this season you missed the chance,you have to wait till next year (2011) to appear in the CAT for which the notifications will be out around the same time as this year.So be prepared and make sure you do not miss the chance next time.

well friend,

CAT exams are successfully over in all over India in the month of NOVEMBER and DECEMBER.

AND IF You are aspiring for the same then you should prepare for the same and apply in the month of September or October and then give the exam.

Hello,

The Common Admission Test or CAT is an all India exam which is conducted by the IIMs to select students to get admission into the premier B-Schools.
Each year one exam is held for selection of students into the various B-Schools.
CAT 2010 was held between the last weeks of October and November and the results got declared on 12th Jan, 2011.

As far as your question goes, The dates for CAT 2011 has not been declared as of yet.
However, keeping in mind last years schedule, one can predict that:

*Forms will be available from last week of August through first week of October.

*Examination maybe conducted between the months of October and November

*You can expect the results within 2 months from the last date of exam.

Here is the detailed news regarding CAt exam last year:
The CAT 2010-11 was from 27th October,2010-24th November 2010.

CAT is one of the many Entrance Exam Taken to get admission in MBA Colleges .CAT is Conducted by IIM's for admission in IIM's .Other colleges too consider your CAT score to take you in.

Eligibility For Appearing in CAT Examination is :
Individuals must have a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
in case of the candidates belonging SC, ST and PWD(person with disability) category is 45%,from any recognized University or College .

Individuals appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree and those who has completed and are awaiting results can also apply.
IIMs may verify eligibility at various stages of the selection process,

The CAT 2011 will have two sections.

Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning


You got 140 minutes to solve these two section each having 70 minutes .Once you completed one section and toggled to another section, you will not be able go back .
