I have the talent of drawing free hand drawings of cartoons and automobiles etc.I am interested to a degree in Animation, and pursue a career in it later.At present I have appeared in +2 board's exam( Non- medical stream), and will be appearing for IIT and AIEEE.

The Govt. institutes are:

The National Institute of Design (NID), Paldi, Ahmedabad, offers courses in graphic design, animation film design, film and video communications.

The Birla Institute of Technology (deemed university), Mesra, Ranchi offers a B.Sc. animation and multimedia course.

The Film and Television Institute of India, Pune conducts a year-and-a-half certificate course in animation and computer graphics.

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) centers in Pune and Mohali also provide training facilities in animation.

hello, myself Satish,i m B.E. (Comp), and i m very interested in animation, so i wanted to do it, i hav choosen C-DAC Pune/Mohali for this course,bcoz it is Govt. recognised and also it provides campus, but one problem is,it is only 6 month full time course( 9:00 to 6:00), so,is the course is completed in 6 month? plz guide me.

You can have BFA(bachelor in fine arts) from delhi college of arts
it will help you to apply in different industry's of animation..

and it is waste to apply for a professional course in instititutes like arena, picasso.. their motive is only to earn money.. they cannot give you skill...
