Is it true that degree students are directly eligible for CA IPCC irrespective of CA-CPT?

Yes,candidates who are graduates in any discipline are eligible for Registering for IPCC without giving CPT exam.

According to the guidelines,
For commerce graduates minimum 55% are required for direct entry to IPCC.
For non commerce graduates minimum 60% marks are Required.

You can register at nearest ICAI chapter or branch.

Hello friends you can apply for Ca without attempting CPT if you are a commerce graduate with certain percentage & your graduation included subjects like mercantile & business law, Income Tax Law , Corporate Accounting etc.

for direct admission to CA course a notice was released recently by ICAI which i have attached here alongwith application form for direct admission.
