Sir I have recently completed M.Sc in Computer Science from Guru Nanak Dev university..I want to do M.Phil in computer science from LPU..kindly describe me about it..

The time duration to complete M.Phil in Computer Science from LPU is 18 Months. Total Fees for the course is INR 88,500.

Eligibility criteria for doing M.Phil in Computer Science from LPU :-

- The candidate must have passed Master's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent and secured 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST/OBC)

- The candidate must have valid score in LPU- M.Phil.

- Admission to the course is based on score in LPU-M.Phil followed by counselling.

Description about M.Phil in Computer Science from LPU:

>> You must first complete Master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized institute with 55% marks.

>> Other conditions as prescribed in the guidelines for degree of Doctor of Philosophy (M.Phil) programs 2016.

>> There is a 5% relaxation to SC/ OBC/ ST candidates

>> Selection is based on Interview

M.Phil (Computer Science) stands for Master of Philosophy in Computer Science. It is a two-year post-graduate degree course in the field of Computer Science.

Candidates who have obtained Master's degree in Computer Science with minimum aggregate of 55% marks from a Government recognised university are eligible to apply for admission to M.Phil (Computer Science) course in LPU.

You need to appear in LPUNEST entrance examination conducted by LPU to get admission in M.Phil (Computer Science) course. If you qualify in the entrance examination and shortlisted, you will have to appear in Interview and based on your performance in the Interview, you will be offered admission in M.Phil (Computer Science) course in LPU.

LPU stands for Lovely Professional University. It is recognized by UGC. It is located in Jalandhar city of Punjab. You must have master degree with minimum 55% marks in aggregate to apply M.Phil in computer science from LPU. Total fee for this course at Lovely Professional University is approximately 90000 rupees. You should apply for LPUNEST test to get scholarship.
