along with the model test papers or last yrs bel questions papers to prepare....
or just tel me at wat shuld i focus to crack the examinatn......asap....plzzzzz

Few Words :-

BEL is having a total of 150 Posts in which they are Divided into 80 Posts for Electronics , 30 Posts for Mechanical and 40 For Computer Science.

Engineering Degree Holders in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Communication, Telecommunication, Mechanical, Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Chemical Engineering disciplines only from AICTE approved Colleges may only apply.

Engineering Degree holders in other disciplines need not apply

Syllabus :-

They have Not specified a Correct explanation on Syllabus for computer Science, I am attaching a Syllabus which is Includes major Portion what comes in BEL Exam.

Papers:-

BEL is a good field for the computer science students so that you will be able to get a good govt job but you have to clear some steps:
Written examination
In 2011,the written examination will be held in bangalore,delhi,mumbai and kolkatta centres.
The written exam will consists of objective type questions from basic engineering students in the respective disciplines or specialisations and general aptitude.
Now after this the candidates will be short listed for the interview and the results will be available in the BEL website
The written test consists of 30 questions based on aptitude
There are data interpretation questions,logical reasoning questions and questions on general knowledge.
The technical part consists of questions which aim to test the fundamental knowledge you have in subjects like solid state and electronics.

Model test papers and previous years question papers
I've attached some of the previous years question papers,so,look for it:

The main thing that you should concentrate while preparing for the BEL exam is to concentrate on confidence and the aptitude tests mainly.

plz tell me How many questions are asked from each of General English , Aptitude , Reasoning and general Knowlege in 30 question

BEL paper consist of 150 question of 2.5 hr
30 question :Aptitude
120 question :technical subjects

For Aptitiude :RS AGARWAL is best
For technical :"PSU by MADE EASY"
