can you please tell me about all the details of J.T.O. exam?
I mean to say how much syllabus I have to cover and which are the preferable books for this exam? I also want to know the date of the J.T.O. exam .

Details about JTO exam

Junior Telecom Officer exam is conducted every year. This exam is conducted by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. This exam is conducted around the month of February every year.The eligibility criteria required for this examination is given below.

Education Qualification
For the JTO exam candidate should have degree in engineering in any of the following subjects.
i. Telecommunication,
ii. Electronics,
iii. Radio,
iv. Computer,
v. Electrical.
vi. Information Technology

Candidates appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for the JTO examination.

Age Limit
Candidate age should not be more then 30 years.
Relaxation in age is given for the reserved category candidates.

For JTOs(Telecom)
Section-I : Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-II : Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-III : General Ability Test : 20 questions

For JTOs(Electrical)
Section-I : Electrical Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-II : Electrical Engineering stream: 50 questions
Section-III : General Awareness : 20 questions

For JTOs (Civil)
Section-I : Civil Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-II : Civil Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-III : General Ability Test : 20 questions

BSNL JTO is Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited Junior Telecom Officers

The three streams in BSNL JTO are:

electrical

civil

telecom

The candidate must possess an Engineering degree in one of the following disciplines from a recognized university.
[final year students can also apply provided they can show their proof of passing by the time decided by the company]

Telecommunication

Electronics

Radio

Computer

Electrical

Information Technology

Civil

Electrical

Mode of Selection:

The mode of selection is by an All India Competitive Examination.
AGE: you should not have crossed 30 years.

5 years age relaxation in case of SC/ST, Govt. employee, BSNL employee.

3 years age relaxation in case of OBC.

10 years in case of PH general candidate(13 years for OBC PH, 15 years for SC/ST PH).

The notification of this year is not published yet...most probably it will not be published this year.

you must possess a Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college / university :
