The Institution of Cost & Works Accountants of India(ICWAI) ,which is set up under the Act of Parliament .This course provides the depth knowledge and perspective to manage business. Eligibility for Admission: (i) You should have any graduate in any discipline or equivalence from a recognized University/Institute. or if the candidates who have already passed the ICWAI Final Course ,they shall also be eligible for admission. Duration: Minimum 2 Years Maximum 5 years ICWAI Final passed candidate can complete the course in one year. Medium : English Fee: Rs. 6,000/- consolidated for full course Prospectus cost : Rs. 400/- There are 4 Courses of IGNOU are: 1. Organization Theory and Behaviour 2. Research Methodology and Statistical Analysis 3. International Business Environment or Business Environment 4. International Marketing Management or Marketing Management After passing the course there are so many top management positions like Managing Director, Accountant, Finance Director, Financial Controller, Cost Controller, Finance Manager, Chief Internal Auditor etc. in Govt. and private sectors. best of luck. |

Yes you can apply for ICWA after B.Com. and you will be eligible to apply for Intermediate course.
Eligibility for Intermediate Course: -Age should not be less than 18 years of age -Graduation in any stream from any recognised University or equivalent. Those who are waiting for the result can apply for provisional admission. How to apply: -Prospectus cost is Rs. 200 -You have to send all the required documents with Bank Draft and photographs to the designated address. Final Course Foundation course: This exam is conducted in the third week of June and the third week of December.This is a theoretical exam consisting of 6 subjects arranged in to 4 papers each of 100 marks. in order to appear in Foundation course you must be cleared 12th class with any stream . Your age should not be less than 17 years. In foundation course you have to study following subjects- 1. Organization and Management Fundamentals 2.Business Mathematics and Statistics Fundamentals 3.Financial Accounting Fundamentals 4.Economics and Business Fundamentals. Intermediate course: This exam is conducted in the second week of June and second week of December.This is a theoretical exam consisting of 6 subjects arranged in to 2 modules of 3 papers each of 100 marks. For appearing in Intermediate course either you have to complete foundation course or you should have completed graduation. In Intermediate course you have to study following subjects- Group I Financial Accounting Commercial & Industrial Laws and Auditing Applied Direct Taxation Group II Cost & management Accounting Operation Management and Information System Applied Indirect Taxes Final Course: This exam is conducted in the month of June and December Second week.In this you will be having a practical Training. In this you have to tudy 15 subjects. In order to appear in final course first you have to complete Intermediate course. You will be having two final Groups: Group III Capital Market Analysis& Co-Operate Laws Financial Management and International Finance Management Accounting and Strategic Management Indirect and Direct Tax management Group IV Management Accounting Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting Cost Audit and Operational Audit Business Valuation management 2. Chartered Accountant (CA) Course The CA course is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accounts of India (ICAI). You can register for the course after completing class 11th but passing 12th is compulsory by the time of first exam.The registration process for the course remains open throughout the year. The course basically comprises of following stages 1. Competence Proficiency Test or CPT 2. Integrated Proficiency Competence Course or IPCC (Group-I and Group-II) 3. Final Course Competence Proficiency Test or CPT You can apply for CPT while studying in class 12th or after passing 12th with any percentage. If due to some reason you qualify CPT but fail in 10+2 board exams, your CPT qualification will be cancelled. Once you are CPT qualified, you can get admission in IPCC. Integrated Proficiency Competence Course or IPCC There are two groups in IPCC (Group-I and Group-II). You can apply for Group-I and Group-II exams in the same session or in different sessions. After passing both groups of IPCC you will have to undergo 3 year Articled Training. After completion of Articled Training or during the last year of Articled Training, you can apply for CA Final Course exam. Taking both group exams could be difficult so on the basis of you convenience, you can take the group exams in the same session or in other session If you take group exams in different sessions then you can start Articled Training after Group-I exams and you can appear Group-II exams during the training period or later. After passing both exams and completion of Articled Training, you can apply for Final Course. |
