Re: Diploma in Pharmacy from IGNOU is valid to open a shop?
No. Actually, no institution offers a distance learning pharmacy program.* If you wish to open a retail medical store, you must complete a pharmacy diploma course from an institution that is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
So, Diploma in Pharmacy from IGNOU is not valid to open a shop. |

Re: Diploma in Pharmacy from IGNOU is valid to open a shop?
Yes, Diploma in Pharmacy from IGNOU is valid. After completing your Dpharmacy you have to undergo at least three months of training at a government-approved medical store. After getting the training certificate from the shop you have to apply for registration at the state FDA office. After receiving a Registered pharmacist certificate you are eligible to start your own medical store.
