There is no such compulsion that one should have a Pilot Training Certificate for getting
into the Flying Branch of Indian Air Force.
If somebody is having a Commercial Pilot License then he might get a relaxation
of upto 2 years in the upper age limit.

If you are a 12th science (Physics & Maths) student then you can get in Flying Branch
of Indian Air Force through 'NDA & NA' examination which is conducted by UPSC twice
a year.
Age Limit: 16.5 to 19 years.

Similarly one can enter the Flying Branch of IAF after Graduation too but one must
have studied Maths and Physics in 12th. Also, B.E./B.Tech. holders can apply.

The entry modes are

Combined Defence Service Examination (Permanent Commission)

NCC 'C' certificate holder special entry (Permanent Commission)
Minimum marks in Graduation should be 60%

SSC entry (Short Service Commission)
Minimum marks in Graduation should be 60%

Age limit 19-23 years.

No, you don't need for that yet. You get it after your training in Air force.

Well there is no such requirement to become a flying officer in the AIR FORCE .

If you want to join IAF and you do not have any pilot license then the different ways are ::

Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) Conducted by UPSC every year two times .The selection of candidates is done through the

Written exam
SSB
Medical

You should be between 19 to 23 years .

You should have completed your Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) / BE / B Tech( Four Year Course) .

Final Year students can also apply, provided thay do not have any backlogs.

NDA ::Conducted by UPSC every year two times .The selection of candidates is done through the

Written exam
SSB
Medical

You should have passed class 12th with physics and maths as a compulsory subjects .

You should be between 16.5 to 19 years of age .
