i am doing my engg in industrial & production...i want to know if psu's accept gate score from production engineering stream or it is necessary to write the paper from mechanical side to be eligible for PSU recruitment??

Yes, from the year 2013, PSUs are accepting gate score cards for recruitment in them for all the respective branches viz mechanical, electrical, electronics and.production engineering. So, now you just concentrate on gettin a good score card in gate for securing your job in PSUs.
