when you will go to fill up the application form,then you will get a information book with that application form,and their every information about the application form is given,however the code for ece is EC,
you can also check it from the websites www.upsc.gov.in
so just go there and find it,

02 If you have appeared/appearing at the requisite qualifying Examination;
