PTU offers degree in Engineering and B. Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) in one of the courses that is taught here. This article deals with Signals and Systems Paper (Paper code: EC-206). This subject is taught to the students of 4th semester pursuing B. Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) from PTU. The examination consists of two parts: Internal (40 marks) and External (60 marks).

Process of the external examination

The duration of the external examination is 3 hours and the maximum marks of the examination are 60. An OMR sheet is provided with the answer sheet and the paper ID and subject code is to be entered correctly into the OMR sheet. Generally there are 9 questions in the paper of which 7 questions are to be attempted. There are 3 sections in the question paper: Section A, Section B and Section C. Section A is compulsory and consists of 10 short questions of 2 marks each. Section B has 5 questions and out of that 4 questions are to be attempted. Each question in this section carries 5 marks. Section C consists of 3 questions of 10 marks each and 2 questions are to be attempted in this section.
